Thanks all for your comments. These were first attempts and I'm still learning what minimal equipment I have. I expect to have more and better pieces soon! And just so you know, the music is all original.

Finally! Awesome! Music a little lower please, human volume up. Hope about some Beatle's music? I like the guitar though too. It looks like a lot of fun. I would love to have our Monday night class post. I'm sure you'd get a kick out of study of crop circles and cycles in the Secret Doctrine.
The best of best wishes to your undertaking. So happy to see Theosophy hit the blogosphere!

Very interesting project you've got going there in your Podcast Chris, but if you could keep the background music down it would be easier to hear what people are saying.

Do we exist depends indeed very much on how one defines the "I" and the "vehicles" (bodies) used by this I to take cognizance of the environment into which this I is involved.
If we do define existence as the environment of which we take cognizance of through a vehicle, then "exist" - including the vehicle - is an illusion due to its ever changing nature and equals "being" in this context. The pure I itself as the reference of identity then becomes be-ness rather than being and is existence in and of itself. My $0.02 worth of opinion :-)

Keep up the good work!

Theosophy would reverse Descartes definition to read:

"I AM, therefore I THINK."

The central "I" is the one thing about us that persists no matter what various personal "hats" we may wear in a lifetime.

A proof is that even persons who have through accident or illness lost their memory and "identity" still are aware of a sense of "I-ness," though they may no longer recall their birth name or experiences.

This question refers to the essential DUALITY of the "personal identity" versus "permanent (spiritual?) identity." Blavatsky emphasizes this teaching is most important to the study of who we are and in what context this most important question is asked.

As Teilhard de Chardin said:

“You are not a human being in search of a spiritual experience. You are a spiritual being immersed in a human experience.”
